Corsair Vengeance 1500

The 1500 maintains the same dark brushed metal finish, padded headrest and velvety earpads. Two of the most distinguished differences one can notice between these two headphones comes in the form of the volume and mic controls as well as the fact that the Vengeance 1500 using an USB instead of 3.5 mm jacks to connect to a device. The Vengeance 1500 is rated as a Dolby 7.1 Audio headset, and this is can be happening because of the Dolby Headphone technology as well as the large 50mm drivers that are used in the headphone. The large circumaural earpads are designed to block outside noise from leaking in to the headphones, leaving users with real experience of audio

An upgraded version of Corsair’s Vengeance 1400 now comes with 7.1 surround sound

The Corsair Vengeance 1500 surround sound headphones may be a bit pricey to some, but we don’t really think so as what you are getting is a solid pair of headphones which can be used in a wide variety of audio listening situations.

The audio quality of the Vengeance 1500 is outstanding, as we have don’t have any complaints about using it for gaming, movies and even listening to music. Describing what it’s like to listen to these headphones, the audio is mature, with the mid and high notes sounding as clear as it should. If we were to complain however, it would have to be that the Vengeance 1500 is lacking in the bass section where there isn’t enough ‘boom’ even when listening to bass heavy tracks. The surround audio feature works good, especially when playing games and watching movies that have the surround sound feature enabled. It sounds almost as if you are actually a part of the experience instead of just listening to it through the headphones.
