ASUS X99-Deluxe Review – There are a new generation of motherboards coming in the form of the Intel X99 chipset series and ASUS gives their customers the ultimate bang for their buck with the ASUS X99 – Deluxe motherboard for the premium users. At first glance, the design cover for the motherboard has changed from the traditional gold to sleek futuristic white, giving the motherboard a cutting edge look.

Its CPU socket allows for the latest generation Intel Core Processors to be used and there are six PCIe expansion slots on the motherboard with five being a full physical x16 slot. It also has eight DIMM slots for up to 128GB DDR4 RAM allowing power users to boost their rig. Ports-wise, it has a wide variety of access points such as 10 total USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 ports, two LAN ports, Wi-Fi antenna ports and two SATA Express ports with eight SATA 6gb/s ports.
